We only are able to get together every two year so it is fabulous it get reacquainted and for the cousins to build friendships together!!
Kassidy was unable to make it because she is at BYU going to school and Tiph's husband, Eric, did not make it because of blood clots he has.....maybe next time!!!
Mom and Dad put us up in a hotel in town and the adventures began!!
As is Nelson tradition, we started our Friday off with the big treasure hunt!!
Mom and Tiph stayed up late the night before, and here is Denise and mom putting the final touches on the bags..
All the grandkids (including 2 grand-niece and nephew) gathered to hear the first clue..
After it was read everyone jumped in cars and away we sped.....seriously!! Brother is so competitive, he would hear the clue and yell "I know where it is" and he would take off....

We are at the pool here and Trevor is jumping in the van through the back.....
The clues were placed at different spots around town that had some kind of meaning to us siblings.....places we worked, where dad worked, where we went to school.........and so on.....

The last clue was one block away to Aunt Sandra's house and the kids are headed back to Grandma's to find the loot!!
They had to anxiously await for me to switch camera's, for grandpa to get his ladder out of the way and just to wait and wait!!

I do believe that you forgot to mention how many traffic laws were broken! It was a fun time, wasn't it!!
Looks like lots of fun, I guess that puts the airheads I gave my kids after their treasure hunt while camping wasn't such a treasure at all compared to that loot!
