Call it a clan, call it a network, call it a tribe, call it a family.

"Your most important friendships should be with your own brothers and sisters and with your father and mother. Love your family. Be loyal to them. Have a genuine concern for your brothers and sisters. Help carry their load so you can say, like the lyrics of that song, 'He ain't heavy; he's my brother.' " Ezra Taft Benson

Sail Away

Before every cruise you have to attend a muster drill. This is where you are instructed on what to do if the ship had to be abandoned. It's always a tradition to get your picture taken......A sure sign the ship is about to set sail!!

Sailing under the Golden Gate Bridge! It was a blustery day, but oh so exciting!!!!
That is a face of pure happiness!!!!

Picture of the pilot boat picking up the pilot who led us out of San Francisco. Fun to watch him get off the ship onto his boat!

Mom and Dad and myself. Outside for the sail away!!

Dinner time!!!!

One of my favorite desserts!!! Meringue in a caramel sauce.....oh yummy my mouth is watering as I think of how good it was!!

We went into rough seas!! Oh I loved it, and so did just about everyone in our party of 12. The swells were 12-15 feet the captain said. You most certainly felt it as you walked, sat, slept.....everything!! Loved it!!! We had them for 2 days....loved it!!

I have tried for 2 days to upload a fabulous video of the waves.....just believe me, they were rockin and a rollin!!
